What a fantastic place this is! We were only sorry that we didn't have longer to spend in this wonderful peaceful spot. There is enough to do in the surrounding area (beaches, old towns to visit) to keep you busy for 2 weeks - and if you want to take an easy day, just spending it around the pool, watching the chickens and the sun going down is really good too. Apartment is large, modern, airy, extremely comfortable and has everything you need - good wifi too. Jane and Steve are the perfect hosts, there if you need them and full of useful tips and advice but quietly unobtrusive too. A really lovely couple who do all they can to make your stay as happy as possible. Most highly recommended.

Jane and Steve are very kind. The apartment is very big, well decorated and everything is new and clean. The pool was just for us and it was great. The location is rural and so quiet . You can get São Martinho do Porto beach in 15 minutes driving. You can find restaurants and supermarkets around. We would definitely recommend this apartment if you want a rural apartement.

We stayed at Jane & Steve’s lovely apartment for a week and had a fantastic time! The place is very spacious, modern and tidy, and fully equipped with anything one would need including all possible recommendations for the silver coast area. It is also surprisingly cool even during summer days, which is great if you return from a long hot day. The terrace is perfect to relax with plenty of room to chill on the sun loungers or the Hollywood swing, or just to cool off in the amazing infinity pool. Jane and Steve are great hosts, very welcoming, considerate and laid-back, always available for help, tips and advices – or just a nice chat. The silver coast is a beautiful and stunning area, very versatile in nature, scenery and historic sights, with lovely little towns and delicious food. We explored the area by car, which was very convenient and easy to reach due to the ideal location of the apartment. We can only recommend this place – as we already have to our friends. :) Thanks again for this wonderful time, Jane & Steve!

Jane and Steve were amazing hosts. They are very nice, always making sure we had everything we need to enjoy our vacations. The apartment was just like we had seen on the photos, well decorated and perfectly able to host 4. The pool area is really nice with everything we needed to enjoy the pool properly (and it is very cool to see the chickens walking around!). The location is rural so we needed a car to get to the supermarket, restaurants, atm... Nearest beaches are very good, São Martinho do Porto and Foz do Arelho 20min driving. We had a great time so would definitely recommend Jane and Steve's apartment.

We had a great quiet holiday , hote are fantastic , available , nice. Chicken aren't noisy , they really have a lovely pool and my children said "Nickel". First beach is at about 20 mns (Foz do Arenho) This is also a nice area to visiting a lot of place like Obidos , Foz , Nazare , Peniche and Thomar. We discover a lot of great restaurent focus on local portugais food. Then don't hesitate , you can book a week here and have fun holidays.

Perfect stay in Steve and Jane's appartment. The place is lovely: flat is new, well decorated and fully equipped. The pool just call for delightful moments as well as the beautiful Silver Coast you can discover around. Moreover Steve and Jane were very nice host, full of care, avaliable for advices. unfortunately we didn't stay long enough to have a chance to discuss a bit more with them. it will be for the next time. thanks to you both.

The apartment was great! It was nice and clean and there is lots of space. Beds were super comfortable and the pool was amazing. It was fun hang out at the pool and watch chickens. :D Jane and Steve came to meet us first day, because we couldn't find the apartment. They also gave us good tips about places where we could visit. Great hosts! Me and my friends really enjoyed our visit, and we can highly recommend this apartment. Hopefully we can come back some day! :)

Our stay with Jane and Steve was as perfect as we could expect.The apartment is very spacious and it was great to have such an open space.The furnishings are modern and the bed was very comfortable.After a while on the road such as we have been it was fabulous to have access to English speaking television channels and a relaxing settee to lounge in. The apartment is very well equipped and we had everything we needed to make ourselves at home.The internet worked very well and was consistent. Jane and Steve were the most helpful of hosts as they drove out to meet with us when we put the wrong location into our GPS.Once we corrected this their apartment was easy to find. They also offered a beef stew dinner with a salad,a couple of beers and a bottle of wine and other items including fresh free range eggs for breakfast all for €10 each which we thought was a great idea after a day driving a reasonable distance to get here. Thank you Jane and Steve for a lovely relaxing and memorable stay.
