About

We are both English and both had very stressful jobs in the UK, so one day we decided that we would just to sell up and create an oasis for people to relax and enjoy and experience the good life. We can definitely say that we've loved every minute of our journey so far.

We first visited the Silver Coast back in October 2013 and just fell in love with the whole area and people. So we came back to the UK and put everything in motion for our move to Portugal journey to begin.

Our House

We found our perfect house in June 2014 and since then we have converted an annex into a luxury modern two bedroom apartment, with infinity swimming pool, patio area and vegetable garden (which our free range chickens, also known as "the girls" love to wander around).

We decided to call our house Casa de Borboletas (meaning House of Butterflies), after the beautiful ceramic butterflies that you can buy in the area.

Our aim has always been to create a place where people will feel comfortable, either in the apartment or by the swimming pool. Also, our location makes it an ideal place to base yourself so that you can explore the beautiful beaches, towns and villages, all within a short drive.

Why Us?

We are committed to making sure all our guests have a memorable stay. We will do everything in our power to ensure that this is achieved. The apartment has all the local information needed to explore the area and get the best out of your stay. We also provide a restaurant guide in the apartment as some of the local restaurants can be tucked away.

We live and work on site so are normally around should you have any questions. Our house is situated in a small village called Cabreiros (meaning goat herders) we are nestled within the fruit farming community, so making it the perfect retreat. We must point out that a car is essential but everything is only a short drive away.
